Canary Islands.- The Canary Islands Special Zone (ZEC) participates in the Mentor Accelera Week on line dedicated in this edition to the green economy, in which context 14 speeds mentoring have been scheduled to advise company promoters how to establish a company in the Canary Islands under the most competitive taxation in the European context. The projects, which participate that seek to know the financing lines or fiscal tools, come from the international, national and regional spheres.
This edition, which is dedicated to business initiatives with a sustainable approach, also includes the participation of other companies related to different branches of activity related to: mobile platforms for security services, textile manufacturing, e-commerce of agricultural products and organic food , internationalization web portal, development of a mobile app for training and monitoring of e-sports, app for renting garage spaces, manufacturing footwear from recycled tires, online platform for ordering in restaurants and hotels, advice on networks, online clothing trade, soap making, sports education and leisure activities.
The acceleration program is co-organized by Centro CIDE and mentorDay. The CIDE Network is an initiative of the Ministry of Economy, Knowledge and Employment of the Canary Islands Government, promoted through the Canary Agency for Research, Innovation and Information Society (ACIISI), and co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund, with a co-financing rate of 85% under the 2014-2020 Canary Islands ERDF Operational Program.
MentorDay is the first private and independent non-profit accelerator in Spain made up of more than 500 volunteer entrepreneurs and professionals.
