PRESENTATION OF THE ZEC DURING THE COURSE ON “TAX BENEFITS OF THE REF”

The president of The Canary Islands Special Zone (ZEC), Antonio Olivera, will introduce the regime of the ZEC within the context of the Course on Tax Benefits of the Economic and Fiscal Regime (REF) of the Canary Islands, organised by the Distinguished Professional Association of Mercantile and Business Graduates of Santa Cruz de Tenerife. The event, to be be held on 26 March, will be opened by the chairman of the Distinguished Professional Association of Mercantile and Business Graduates of Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Francisco Purriños Carrasco, and the minister of the Treasury Department of the Government of The Canary Islands, Rosa Dávila Mamely. The programme lists several presentations made by experts on the matter. Along with Olivera’s conference on the benefits and novelties of the ZEC, as an incentive for the REF, the speakers will discuss the following topics: “A complete vision of the Reserve for Investment in Canary Islands (RIC), following the modifications introduced by Act 8/2018”, “We help you to digitalize your business”, “Reserve for Investment in the Canary Islands (RIC) vs Deduction for Investment in the Canary Islands (DIC) and other incentives of the REF”, “Recent Tax Controversies”, and “Foreign Trade: Imports and Deliveries of Goods Tax in the Canary Islands (AIEM), the Indirect General Canarian Tax (IGIC) and the Free Zone”. The President of the Government of the Canary Islands, Fernando Clavijo is expected to close the course together with the chairman of the Distinguished Professional Association of Mercantile and Business Graduates of Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Francisco Purriños Carrasco.
