Canary Islands.- Forty investors related to the water, new technologies and e-learning sectors participated in the webinar organized by the Canary Islands Special Zone (ZEC) in collaboration with the international consultancy, HMS Intelligence.

The virtual workshop, moderated by Sheila Trujillo, CEO of HMS Intelligence, had the interventions of the director-manager of the Spanish Association of the Water Sector, Agustí Ferrer; the general secretary of the National Association of Distance Learning Centers, Miguel Ángel Fernández Sánchez and the CEO of Aefol-Expolearning, José Lozano Galera.

This panel of experts focused its debate on the analysis of the situation of each of the sectors, future options and, above all, business opportunities in the Canary Islands related to different elements, including its unique interesting fiscal framework for internationalization and growth. business. On the part of the ZEC, Isabel Castro broke down all the aspects related to this REF tax incentive that makes it possible as an economic tool for diversification to establish companies in innovative and technological sectors with the outstanding advantage of applying 4% in the Tax on companies of those companies that carry out these activities from the Canary Islands.
