Canary Islands.- The Canary Islands Special Zone (ZEC) presented ‘Why Tenerife?’ at Pioneers 2018, an event held in Vienna (Austria), on 24 and 25 May, where they held an important agenda of nearly 40 meetings with technology-based startups and small and medium business in sectors given their interest in the opportunities of the Canary Islands as a geostrategic base for business and operations with international markets.
Pioneers is Europe’s ground-breaking technology conference, bringing together a global community of 2,500 industry innovators. In this annual meeting, technology startups have the opportunity to interact and hold b2b meetings with the main investors and CEOs of the most relevant technology-based companies in the European context. The last edition of the event was awarded the prestigious Bea World ‘Best Conference 2017’ award.
