The Official State Gazette (BOE), number 242 of 06 October 2018, publishes Royal Decree 1248/2018 of 5 October, appointing Antonio Olivera as President of the Consortium of the Canary Islands Special Zone at the joint proposal of the Minister of Finance and the Government of the Canary Islands. Antonio Olivera replaces the current head of the Organization, Jimena Delgado-Taramona.
