The Canary Islands Special Zone (ZEC) will present the benefits of this incentive at the working breakfast, ‘The ZEC: tax advantages for Renewable Energy Projects’, which will take place on 9 November, at the Club Financiero de Génova in Madrid.
At this meeting, organised in collaboration with HMS-Intelligence-internationalisation consultants, the ZEC will explain the procedures of authorisation, inscription, conditions and advantages applicable to entrepreneurial projects linked to the sector to be carried out in the Canary Islands.
The Canaries are the perfect location for initiatives related to renewable energies, with the added value that they have a low taxation authorised by the European Union which enables companies of a wide range of subsectors to grow. Some of these activities are: production, transport, manufacturing, commercialisation of electrical energy from renewable sources; manufacturing, marketing and intermediation of equipment; equipment installation and repair; engineering and technical consultancy; research and development (R&D); training and Tics applied to the sector.
It should be pointed out that one of the main advantages of this incentive is the Corporate Tax at 4% compared to 22% of the European average.
