The Canary Islands.- The Canary Islands Special Zone (ZEC) will join the promotional brand Best in Gran Canaria and the Marine Maritime Cluster of the Canary Islands on their visit to Europort 2019, one of the most important trade fairs for businesses linked to the maritime sector, and which will be held in Rotterdam (Holland) from 5 to 8 November.
In this context, the ZEC has scheduled through Marimatch-Europort 2019, the platform that enables this event, a b2b meeting agenda with suppliers of naval services and naval equipment, shipyards, distributors of naval pieces and spare parts and R&D, as well as with associations and authorities, to explain the opportunities that the Canary Islands offer to this sector and the added value of having a reduced tax regime.
Europort is the most recognised biennial international maritime fair in the country, featuring all sectors of the naval industry: shipbuilding, maintenance and repair, navigation, electronics and services. In this new edition, 217,000 professionals are expected to attend, as well as 1,100 exhibiting companies, making it one of the main meeting places for the naval and maritime industry in the world.
