The Canary Islands.- The Special Zone of the Canary Islands (ZEC) presented its series of tax incentives for the audiovisual sector to Canadian companies from the animation industry. The Canadian delegation is visiting Gran Canaria and Tenerife this week in the framework of a reverse mission organised by the Canary Islands Economic Development Company (Proexca), an entity which is affiliated to the Regional Ministry of Economy, Knowledge and Employment of the Government of the Canary Islands. The meeting took place at the Agency for the Economic Development of Gran Canaria (SPEGC), where Proexca talked about the advantages of the ZEC´s low taxation regime and the incentives of the animation sector. Likewise, Canarias Cultura Red explained the opportunities of the islands as a platform for investors.
