The Canary Islands – The Canary Islands Special Zone (ZEC) presented its attractive taxation regime for business launching and expansion in the islands to the members of a business mission from Belgium and Luxemburg, organised by the Sociedad Canaria de Fomento Económico (Proexca – the Canarian Society for Economic Development) through the Chamber of Commerce in Spain of these two countries of Western Europe.
The business delegation is visiting the archipelago from 25 to 28 November. During this time, presentations have been scheduled for the ZEC´s incentive and its set of tax advantages, procedures and requirements to operate, as well as that of the Canary Islands because of their tri-continental geostrategic situation and their incentives for investment, by Proexca, and those of the economic promotion brands Why Tenerife? and Best in Gran Canaria.
This mission is made up of representatives of companies related to renewable energies, information and communication technologies (ICTS), audiovisual services and business process outsourcing (BPO). The aim of this initiative is to attract strategic investments from sectors of economic activity of interest to the Canary Islands. The planned work agenda also included visits to representative facilities.
