The Canary Islands 09/03/18 – The Canary Islands Special Zone (ZEC) participated today, Friday, March 9, in the Canary Island International Film Market 2018, which was held at the Iberostar Grand Hotel Mencey in Santa Cruz de Tenerife. The Canary Island International Film Market 2018, now in its 15th year, aims to promote contact between producers and makers and facilitate access to and knowledge of the projects participating in the different lines of financing and tax benefits. At the event, which began with an exclusive conference by the producers of Atresmedia Cine, José Torrescusa and Rosa María Pérez, who are responsible for projects such as Palm Trees in the Snow, Minimum Island and Elite Body, the ZEC held a series of b2b meetings to explain the advantages of the incentives aimed at the sector, and establish contacts with companies studying the projection of audiovisual initiatives attending the market.
